I’d like to introduce Tutu Magic - Twinkle’s First Recital, my debut children’s picture book inspired by my time at Tiny Tutus Pre-School Ballet with the amazing Simone and her wonderful team.

Becoming an author has been a lifelong dream, fuelled by my passion for reading.

As an avid reader, I immerse myself in the mystery and beauty of every book I encounter, regardless of genre. Whether I’m lost in the enchanting realms of fiction, exploring the gripping narratives of true crime, falling in love with romantic tales or mesmerised by the magic of children’s books; reading transports me to another world. Just ask my husband, Chris—when I have a book in hand, everything else fades away!

Now, I'm thrilled to share my own stories with you, hoping to inspire and connect with fellow dreamers and readers. I aspire to champion a love of reading from an early age.

My debut children's picture book, "Tutu Magic: Twinkle's First Recital," was born during lockdown story time. As we shared stories to uplift our little ballerinas and dancers, I felt compelled to create a story that would help them overcome recital nerves and encourage those hesitant to shine on stage. After writing ten enchanting stories, I decided to focus on this special one, transforming it into a standalone book to inspire confidence and joy in every young ballerina and dancer.

Just like Twinkle braved her anxiety, I've stepped into the spotlight of authorship, butterflies and all.
